Greetings Jammers! Happy NATIONAL POETRY MONTH! We’re back with another DIAMOND CHALLENGE that celebrates this paw-tastic time of year! Today we’re challenging Jammers to write a QUATRAIN POEM and submit a drawing of their poem!
A QUATRAIN POEM consists of FOUR LINES and usually rhymes. Common QUATRAIN POEMS will have rhyme schemes, the most common being AAAA, ABAB, and ABBA. Here’s an example of a QUATRAIN POEM:
The SPRING COTTAGE is finally here!
and wow, does it look nice.
let’s decorate, and make it home.
We’ll call it paradise!
Keep on reading to learn how 5 JAMMERS can win 5 DIAMONDS each:
1. Write a QUATRAIN POEM about anything you want, which will later be submitted through JAMMER CENTRAL.
2. Draw a picture of whatever topic you chose for your poem using whichever art/painting tool you have access to. If you choose MONKEYS as the subject for your QUATRAIN POEM, draw MONKEYS. Save your file to your desktop, so you can upload the file to Jammer Central later.
3. Head to JAMAA TOWNSHIP and click on the bulletin board in JAMMER CENTRAL. Enter your poem into the open text box and upload your drawing saved to your desktop by clicking the plus sign. Title your submission as Diamond Challenge – QUATRAIN POEM and click the SUBMIT YOUR WORK button!
