AJ Academy – Make your own Barometer!

Barometer!

Ever wonder about the weather? A few of things we’ve been thinking about here at AJHQ are questions like why does the weather change and how can we predict storms. If we know when it’s going to rain we can know when to play outside – and when we get to splash in puddles!

Turns out, you can build a simple tool that can help you predict when the weather is going to change – and it’s not a crystal ball, it’s a barometer!

:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

A barometer is a tool that meteorologists (scientists who study the atmosphere) use to measure the atmospheric pressure. By measuring the atmospheric pressure, we can determine if weather patterns are going to change.

But don’t take our word for it – try it out yourself! Build a barometer and see if you can make an accurate weather forecast.
